With a boat rental in Brindisi you decide where to go and how long to stay in each spot. The boat takes up to five passengers, and a car driving licence is enough to take the helm: no boating licence is required. The person at the helm needs to be 21 or older and must show the licence.
The rental base is in Marina di Brindisi, at Via dei Dardanelli, 2, reached from the city centre by bus line 5, which stops at the door. If you have never driven a boat, the team gives you a hands-on briefing on the basics before you leave, so you can move around confidently and safely. Then the coastline is yours, with the freedom to look for quiet spots of your own. The rental lasts about four hours.

Fuel is not included. You get the boat with a full tank and give it back the same way, so stop for fuel at the port before returning. A deposit is required at the start. Rules of navigation protect nature and everyone's safety: stay at least 300 m away from beaches and 100 m away from rocky shores. Beachwear, a cap, sunscreen and drinking water are all worth bringing. The rental is not suitable for people with mobility impairments or wheelchair users.
