Description
This private tuk tuk tour in Ostuni is reserved for two. Your driver, who also acts as guide, meets you in Piazza della Libertà beneath the spire of Sant'Oronzo, and you set off as the first evening light touches the white limestone.
The tuk tuk climbs Via Cattedrale, passing noble palaces, craft workshops and hidden doorways. At the top of the hill you stop by the cathedral and the Arco di Scoppa, a stone arch said to draw on Venice's Bridge of Sighs, a good place for a photo together. The ride then follows the Aragonese walls, where the view opens over olive trees in the Itria Valley down to the Adriatic.
The evening ends on foot. A short walk leads to a hidden alley where a table is set among lanterns, candles and cushions on the white stone steps.
