Description
The tiramisu class in Ostuni begins around a pot of Italian mocha coffee with biscuits, a relaxed way to meet your hosts before the real work starts. Sonia and Davide, who know the trade, guide you through the classic recipe with its mascarpone cream and through the seasonal variations.
You do the cooking yourself, with your hands in the mixture, in the hosts' own kitchen. You prepare each version in turn, learning the best ingredients and following the recipe step by step.
After the work comes the reward. The tasting takes place in the Orangerie greenhouse, in the middle of the countryside beneath a large weeping willow, a spot kept just for your group. The hour and a half ends with a chat about how the recipes turned out.
- A welcome aperitif, with herbal teas, infusions or tea
- Water, and a brunch made from your own creations
- A last surprise from the chef
- Recipe menus printed for you to keep
The class runs in English or Italian and suits anyone who likes a calm, family-friendly setting and a seasonal twist on a favourite dessert.
